The Sultan of Swat does it again
He has done it again this day on September 30, 1927 Babe Ruth for the third time set a world record of sixty home runs. Breaking his previous set record of fifty nine. I am quite sure that Harry Frazee, the owner of the Boston Red Sox, and the rest of the team are kicking them selves for the seemingly advantageous trade they made with the yankees before the 1920's season. It was probably realized as a mistake when in 10 of his next 12 seasons he hit more home runs then all of the Red Sox team combined.

George Herman Ruth was born February 6, 1895, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the first of eight children although, he and his sister were the only two to survive infancy. Quite the trouble maker George was declared to much to handle by his parents and was sent to an orphanage. There he honed his skills with a bat. By nineteen he had signed with the Orioles. Thus begins the career of one of Americas greatest legends.
